About Our Church

Bethel Gilead Community Church has been a cornerstone of our community for generations, built on a foundation of faithful worship, biblical teaching, and genuine care for one another. We're a family of believers committed to knowing God deeply and making Him known widely—both in our local community and around the world.

At Bethel Gilead, we believe that faith isn't meant to be lived in isolation—it's designed to be shared, lived out, and multiplied. Our three core values guide everything we do as a church family, from how we gather on Sundays to how we serve our neighbors and reach the nations. These aren't just words on a page; they're the heartbeat of who we are and how we follow Jesus together.

Live the Life

Faith is best lived in community. Our small groups are where real life happens—where we study God's Word together, pray for one another, celebrate victories, and walk through challenges side by side. Here, you'll find authentic relationships and a place to grow deeper in your faith while doing life together.

Extend the Kingdom

The mission starts at home and reaches to the ends of the earth. We're committed to sharing the good news of Jesus right here in our community and supporting missionaries around the world. From serving our neighbors to partnering with global workers, we believe every member has a role in God's mission to reach all people with His love.

Be the Church

We gather weekly to worship God as Lord, dive into His Word, and care for one another's needs. But being the church doesn't stop when the service ends. When we leave on Sunday, we go out as Christ's representatives—commissioned and equipped to bring hope, love, and the Gospel into our everyday lives and communities.

Meet the Team

Our pastoral team is here to serve, shepherd, and equip our church family. With a heart for God's Word and a passion for people, they lead with humility and care—helping each of us grow in faith and discover our calling in God's kingdom.

Jim Erwin, Lead Pastor

Before coming to Bethel Gilead CC in 1996, Jim and his wife, Kim, served as missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ in Argentina. The Erwins have eight children and eight grandchildren. Jim's greatest joy is to see people awaken to God and discover the relevance of his word, the Bible.
